One way of stoping Global Warming is to reduce Emissions into the atmosphere. We can do this by expanding the use of renewable energy and transforming our energy systems to one that is cleaner and less dependent on coal and other fossil fuels. Another way is to place limits on the amount of carbon that polluters are allowed to emit.
Media pundits, partisan think tanks, and special interest groups funded by fossil fuel and related industries raise doubts about the truth of global warming. These contrarians downplay and distort the evidence of climate change, demand policies that allow industries to continue polluting, and attempt to undercut existing pollution standards.
By stopping deforstation we can significantly reduce the amount of emmisions we put out into the air. By stopping tropical deforsation we can significantly lower global warming emmisions.
